Default Water flow over clam???

Can anyone tell me what too much water flow is? I think my clam which sits about 7 inches from my 301 pump does not like the flow??? It is not directly in the path but the flow bounces of the glass and back on the clam. I am going to J&L today to p/u a book on clams, but I would like your opinion also.

lastly, other than DT's what else do you feed your clams?

(Man I hate spelling Clam like Claim, I had to go over this post cause I do it at least once)

Thanks
Patrick

Patrick, I think if the mantle is flapping all over the place, it would be too much. Other than that, as long as it's extending it's mantle, I think you're fine.

I moved it a little and its mantle seems to be coming out more.

Thanks for the help.
