![]() You can probably get away with using any controller. They all function quite well as standalone units. The only reason you really 'need' to connect them to a computer is for firmware updates. You could do this via. a friends laptop if you had too. (and it's not very often this would need to be done)

What about the charting/data-recording components? Would I also be required to borrow a PC to get that information? There are so many nice controllers out there that I would love to get, but I'm worried about spending a large number of dollars on something I can't get full use out of. |
