sand sifting trigger??
My bluelined trigger has been stirring up the sand quite a bit lately. He positions himself vertically and looks like he blows or spits water into the sand.
Its quite interesting to watch. I have no complaints since I was having sifting issues anyways except that it gets sand all over my live rock. My only question is does this sound normal?

my picasso trigger used to do that all the time. pickup a mouthfull of sand, and spit it all over my rock. but what was even worse was that he'd try to dig under all the rocks and in the process create quite the sandstorm in the tank. i guess im glad he's not there anymore to bug my corals, but i do miss him as he was quite unique. i guess i sorta relate him to a dog. getting into all kinds of crap all the time, but still gotta love the bugger.

my picasso trigger does the same. where he likes to sleep in his little cave, is bare glass, he'll removes many mouths full of sand daily and make dust storms in the tank. all the live rock is covered with sand.
