I've never cycled a tank yet.
I've allway's started with mostly cured live rock and added livestock asap. I've been lucky to date. *Knocks on wood*

Wow I was kinda fooled there by the back ground looked like a well stocked tank. If you use well aged rock you will be fine my cycle is when the dust settles. Not sure if the shrimp will make it though... little early for that
Oh yeah and Golds is great !!!!
