Do you have a picture of that fish ?? Is it a community fish? If I want it..I might not able to take it until a month.. still waiting for the big tank to arrive by mid-end of April

bubblepuffer,

No pics of the fish, but if you look in the previous posts, you'll find videos of him

He has to go this long weekend. The tank is being moved on Good Friday. Do you have another tank set up that could house him until your big tank comes? Also, wrasses can be jumpers, so you'll have to cover your tank. Mine is covered in glass and eggcrate.

Hey,

I may be interested. Have you ever had any problems with it picking at corals or clams?

Catherine,

He does not bother corals at all. I don't have clams, so I can't comment on whether or not he'd pick on them. Maybe Tony might be able to help you out with the clam thing.

It should be OK. Fairy wrasses are model reef citizens. Although I've only ever had one tank that housed both clams and a fairy wrasse at the same time, most of the fairies that I've kept were in tanks without clams. But I did have a Cillhilabrus lubbocki in with clams and he never ever bothered the clams.

Here's a good article about fairy wrasses: http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/20...hcs3/index.php

Thanks for the article Tony.

Bev, I'll go over the article and finish with my research before I let you know for sure if I can give your wrasse a new home.
