You guys don't really need RO in Van, just a couple DI cartridges will do the trick. What are most of you running for water filtration out there?

The only reason we use RO out here is to remove the turbidity from the water. After a good rain the water can take on a brown appearance, which just isn't removed with the standard 1 micron filters.

I don't have a reef tank yet. Will I need RO system no matter what? Where I live (N. Delta) the TDS meter reads ~10 ppm.

Been awhile since I measured the tap so won't try to remember but I'm amazed with those single digit readings. It's almost as low I get with a ro/di unit.

Mine is about 1800ppm from my well. Needless to say I buy all my water from a local water store that I know well and trust their testing and system.
