is that a coil denitrator? has it helped? does it use sulphate media?

it is a coil De-NITrator
It has helped. Nitrated are down to 15ppm, from over 80.

it cost around 45$ to make. All parts from Home Depot, except the black hose. Got that from a hydroponics store.
