Mine was around 6.7 to 6.8. I ran the effluent close to a stream, basically a fast drip. My effluent alk. was in the high 20,s dkh. I would say it depends on what the systems current demand is.

I aim for 6.7. Kevin I'm impressed you can get such a difference after the second stage, mine is 6.7 after stage 1 and 6.7 after stage 2. I'd love to know what your flowrate is through the reactor?

And to answer the other questions, I run about 60ml/min and with my current reactor about 80bubbles/min (slightly faster than 1 per second). In previous larger reactors I had the bubble rate as high as 160-200 bubbles per minute. In a smaller reactor (which I now run as sulfur denitrator but that's another story) I had a bubble rate less than 60 to maintain 6.7 at 60ml/min. I like smaller reactors, same results+less cost.

I run my K2R at 6.5ph after an add on effluent chamber, about 100 bubbles/min with the fastest drip I can get before it's a stream. (60ml/min)

Using ARM in my single chamber, recirculating DIY reactor and keeping the effluent 6.7-6.8 When I first set up measured effluent at Ca 520ppm, Alk above 16KH (Salifert max) with ~40 drips/min at 20 bubbles/minute. Found tank was fairly steady with Ca 350-360ppm, alk ~10KH.

Little over a week ago thought would try for a higher Ca so added some Seachem Ca and I cranked up flow and bubbles to 60ml/min and 40 bubbles/min (effluent pH still 6.7-6.8). After a couple of days system seemed leveled to Ca380, alk 13KH, (tank pH 8.0-8.1) and I left on a trip. Just came home today and after being gone for a week, measured tank Ca 400 but alk 15.0KH (tank pH 8.0, effluent 6.7). I shut the CO2 off and guess I'll be doing a water change this weekend.
