Stan, I'm using 2-250W Ushio 10K bulbs. I've been using them for about a year now. Dave, my camera is a nikon coolpix 880. An older model but it takes the most awesome macro shots

Thanks Christy . I had a Nikon Coolpix 4500 that was also terrific for macro shots . Unfortunately left it in a taxi in Thailand with all the holiday shots.
 Maybe I will go the same route again with Nikon ! .................Dave
