I dont have a glass top,but vinegar works for me when I need to clean Ca deposits.

vinegar cleans everything fish related, I've found And it's cheap. Big 4L jug from superstore's like $4.

let it soak in the sink with warm water and some vinegar. That'll loosen anything up.
