Good for you (in the long run, even if it sounds like a living hell in the short run).

My dad quit cold turkey a 2 pack/day habit (25+yrs) when I was in grade 9 when his doctor showed him an X-ray of his lungs & told him he'd be dead in 6 months. I made him sign a contract to buy my mom, my bro, sis & I each a brand new car of our choice if we ever caught him with another cigarette. That would have made it a six-figure smoke, so he decided to stay off & he's still alive today after more than 20 years (since his doc gave him 6 months tops).

So, good luck & it'll be worth it in the end.
