I have to chime in here every time I walk into Colby’s store he always greets me by name. And for someone who runs the store by himself, I think he does a great job.
In my opinion Calgary needs to start supporting there locally owned and operated store more, and a lot less complaining that you weren’t greeted at the door. I can't tell you how may times we have walked into a ( I’m not going to say the name but it has Land in it) store and there have been 3 or 4 people standing around with there thumbs up there behinds, with out so much as a smile or a head nod that we even walked in. Hence we now buy our dog and cat food from the vet.
