![]() You should NOT feed a lion or anyother marine carnivore freshwater anything as a main diet. If your lion is new and isn't eating you can feed it FW shrimp to initiate a feeding habit, but you can't stick with just FW shrimp because freshies lack in some nutrients that marine animals need. For a lion I would put it on a diet of a couple of different frozens and an occasional live treat like shrimp or a small fish. Id only give FW food once a week at most.

![]() My dwarf fuzzy lion has done great in my tank with 2 coral banded shrimp, and two small clowns he has never touched them. He now eats Krill directly off a toothpick. He is great.

![]() Awesome post, I had a dwarf lion in my 15 gallon tank and he did alright with the shrimp etc. My plan was to set up a brackish 45 gallon with a number of mollies in it and use the mollies for food but it just didn't work out that way. I figured live bearers in brackish water would give me a decent supply of live food but like I say, the best laid plans....

![]() My Fu Manchu does well, he bumps the shrimp but doesn't eat them. He eats tiny clownfish i give him. I know a a guy that breeds them and i get the rejects or the dead ones, he freezes them for me
