I too have been pondering the pros and cons of RODi versus tap water lately. Yes, there are cons to RoDi water, it is totally void of any minerality. That is a good thing right? Maybe, maybe not.

The RO water is void of minerals, but the salt ADDS those minerals back into the water - and it's only the good minerals it adds, not any of the bad stuff.

For FW, RO isn't a positive option, due to the fact that you're not adding anything in the form of supplements. But for SW, with the salt providing the nutrients, using Tap Water (from my understanding) is an overload of nutrients.

Adidas - TDS is 14 after RO? What is the rating on your tap water? When was the last time you replaced your membrane?
