Looking into don getty from waiparous... Almost depressing looking at this picture - I miss this section of alberta - can't mount a horse, never make it hiking that far back - not allowed to drive out there anymore... Thanks GAMP!

theres a town that is just off the high way from the emerald lake turn off in BC, (cant remember its name obviously) but just before the town is a valley that looks identicle to that picture.

Going through my digital pics I realize most of my cool pics are on print format.

Here are my offerings for now, what I could find:

Sunset at Glenmore Reservoir (Calgary).. after a night of sailing it's usually finished off with a vista like this. You can just see the #5 marker
Glenmore is an absolute gem to have within the city limits.

I literally turned around after taking the above picture and thought the clouds were also picture worthy.

I think my wife took this shot of some hoodoos by Drumheller.

A stand of Cypripedium sp. ladyslipper orchids. To be honest I forget where this is. It could be some that are growing in a garden or it could be a wild stand somewhere in Alberta or B.C.

Pebble Beach Tree (south of Monterey Bay, California).

Othello Train Tunnels (near Hope, B.C.)

Tofino, B.C.

Ladybug in a Iris type flower, taken near Silverton, B.C.

Macro of some Sphagnum Moss (also near Silverton - very rainforesty)

A stand of bog orchids on the side of the highway to Silverton, just south of Revelstoke, B.C.
