Get rid of the hydroids as soon as you can they will take over... I think many of us have had huge problems with these I know at least sumpfinfishe and I have torn down our entire tanks in an attempt to get rid of them... and I still have 2-3 patches after chipping away at lots of rock

GET RID OF THEM!!!!

The anemone looks like one I have, its NOT A PEST, its actually really cool, slow growing and doesn't move around like many anemones. Hasn't multiplied either. Don't be too hasty to kill it. I forget the name, but they are actually fairly uncommon. I'll see if I can come up wioth a proper ID for you.

If it is the same as what I have, it is a Phymanthus sp. anemone.

Various species of this anemone are different colours from what I have found. Mine came as a hitchhiker on my LR when I set up my tank three years ago. It was small at first, probably about 1/4". Its now only about 2" across. Apparently they have a pretty good sting, so just make sure you give it a bit of space from your corals. Mine has never moved, even when I have re-aquascaped and repositioned the rock it's on, so just room enough that it won't inadvertantly get touched by a coral.
