![]() As I am just starting out I am dosing with the basic 4 (zeo food7, zeoliths, zeobak and zeostart2) In addition to that I also add the k-balance, Aminoacid and Coral Vitalizer. I am going to start using the KZ Coral Snow when I can manage to find some. I have not tried the ultralith system nor have I researched it. I did try the polylabs system on one tank but did not see great results, which could have been as much due to the heat we had this summer as anything else.
I have researched zeo a fair amount and am convinced that it is a great system as long as the additives are readily available, which I think they will be now that we have a few LFS that are carrying it as well as a Canadian supplier. My previous frustration in trying to run this system was trying to get additives in a timely way. FWIW I do not find this system that expensive to run once you have the additives as you use so little of them that they will last a very long time. It can be costly initially however to aquire the things you need. |

![]() Oh my goodness - I don't even know what my initial cost was as it was at least a year ago that I initially started to aquire stuff. I did buy a bunch of additives on zeovit from a couple of people that decided they didn't want to do it anymore and that was quite a savings.
I would guess - and I mean guess - that the cost of my buying the stuff that was required to start with the basics was somewhere around $300, including a second hand zeo reactor that was not that good a deal as it broke soon after. I am sure that if you inquire with Paul at Reef Perfections or with Hidden Reef or even Ocean Aquatics (who I believe are going to carry the zeo line) they can probably give you a lot better idea. |

![]() holy crap - That's a 100g tank, those corals must be HUGE - Can you take a shot so we can get perspective on the actual size of the tank?
I would make a comment about how crazy y'all are spending so much money but, heh, yeah. Won't be doing that ![]() Good work, beauty!! |

![]() Zeovit doesnt' have more necessary components than the other system, they just have a full product line in addition to the actual Zeovit system.
