![]() Very cool pics. I wish my main tank looked half as good as their tanks, or even just their frag tank.

![]() Waikiki is an awsome place to stay ive been there 4 times. Its a nice mixture of beach life and touristy stuff. Lots to do. The Ocean at waikiki is the most amazing thing in the world. perfect water. I wish i was still there.

![]() The one real nice thing about Hawaii (any of the islands) is how easy it is to get to from here.
But if you think the waters are awesome there, you should one day try going further south. It will blow you away. Having dived in the Barrier Reef a few years ago, and then in Hawaii this last summer (after not having been to Hawaii in about ten years) .. there's no comparison. It's *nice* and all, after all it's more than what we have here in Calgary ![]() It was once described to me that you can think of "Papua New Guinea" as "reefing ground zero". The further away you get from PNG, the younger the reefs and thus you can expect diversity to thin out correspondingly. It's all good, of course, don't get me wrong. It's just too bad it's considerably more $$$ and hassle to get to such places. Oh well, guess there has to be a trade-off somehow. ![]()
