Algae means there's too many nutrients in the tank (usually). What skimmer do you run? What kind of water do you use (tap, store bought, ro/di, etc)? How is your alk?
If you have a lot of it, you can get a sea hare to eat it. They mow through it pretty quick. |

Yeah, a sea hair will make short work of it, in my experience.
I would go barebottom and watch how much you feed. Only add ro/di water and run some sort of phosphate removal media in your sump. |

I would check and see how much your protein skimmer is pulling out of the tank maybe you dont have it set high enough. on my 90 gal we empty the protein skimmer every 3 days and it is almost black
