I've always wondered if you could do anything with those crappy pasta express thingys. Its about all they're good for.

Chuckle...Ive been thinking about that for inside my 5 gal water jug skimmer. I'm going to have a series if tubes progressively smaller for the bubbles to go through creating extended contact time. similar concept as sump baffles but with progressivly smaller tubes.

HEHE they are good for something...but notta pasta!!

Yeah I checked out the old fluval of mine, and it sounds like it would be too much work for the moment. I might just go buy a two little fishies phosphate reactor for $45, and use a spare mj 400 that i have.
