Yikes. Tension running high here! For...uh...no apparent reason.
I don't have MH lighting, nor have I ever, but I would think that 1000w would run very hot, as someone mentioned above. |

There was some rich guys tank someone posted on reef central who used them.
The tank was like 1000Gal and 5 feet deep or something. So in that case they probably did'nt effect temp or evap much more then your average larger tank with 400's on it.
