The Cube
Now that I can post pics I decided to start a journal. my tank is a 30 gal oceanic cube with diy overflow 2 maxijet 900 and a mag 9 for flow. For lighting i have a 400 watt mh and 2 t5 15 watt overdriven atinics. In the tank i have green zoos about 40 heads of candy, large leather 2 clams one crocea and one squamosa. there are a bunch more. i also have a huge huge skimmer on the tank. But dont get too attached to it there is another 90 on the back burner. oh also an acrylic sump and a sqwd

how much evap do you have on a 30 gal tank with a 400 watt mh??
Beautiful clam's! i had a 90 with a 400watt'er and was evaping 5 gals a day. Richard

i get about 5 gal every 2 days thats why im switching to the 90 and i will be hooking my auto topoff up. you must have had your lights awfully close to the water

i had my light about 12" away from the water but i also had 2 decent sized fans blowing air through the canopy.
Richard i thought you would have had way more evap
