If I was young and single, you can guarantee I would be up on the rigs in Northern Alberta. My step brother-in-law came from Winnipeg, took a one week course and was making $70K a year just cleaning up on the rigs. There is alot of money to be made if you have half a brain.

Im not a manual labour kinda guy, so rig work isnt for me. I have a friend who works a rig down in brooks it doesnt sound like to much fun. Plus my Girlfriend wouldnt be to happy.
