"Starfire Glass" is special because it has less "lead" content than other glass, giving it more optical clarity than ordinary glass. regular glass has a green tinting to it. it doesn't distort as much around corners etc...

Im pretty sure its less iron. Since its a low iron glass.

its both lead free and low iron, the lack of lead is why it is so clear though
