big tank for free....must move yourself

Wow, this tank is more than twice as big as my tank - and I remember moving mine when we were building our house --- it took 14 guys to move it - no easy task. We had to move the tank during the framing stages and even though we have a walkout, we still had to get it through the window and in to the fish room, which was framed after the fact. I don't think there's an easy way to move that tank out of the basement.

Could be that gnu-reefer's post is a hoax

Anyway, what are you gonna do with this tank if you get it? BTW, my question is real, no hoax

I'm very interested in what the folks who have asked to take this tank are planning to do with it.

Not many people will have the resources to have this moved ASAP like he stated in his post. I did leave him a message to get back to me and I'd have it done yesterday or today and heard nothing back so I never lined everything up. (Now wouldn't be even possible to make anything happen asap.)

I was thinking of possibly tearing it apart and rebuilding it in one side of my garage. I wouldn't even think of putting anything that big in my house.

But like I said........ I'm calling it.

I had called first thing
the guy that answered the phone didn't know a thing about it
I pm'd Gnu Reefer to see what was going on and I haven't heard from him either
kinda weird
Why post something and then not follow thru
at least let us know what the heck is going on.
Not cool to keep us in the dark like this

There is also the posibility that they wanted it gone and simply smashed it.
I shuter at that thought, because if I bought a house with a 1200g tank in the basment I would definatly want to keep it and set it all back up.

If you look at this users other posts he is the same person that tried to pass off a photochop fish as one in his tank untill Willow pointed it out. He's also made another thread and never replied in his own thread again.

Go figure.
