![]() I heard a rumor that EuroReef is switching from Sedra pumps to Eheim. Can anyone comment on which pump is better and why?

![]() Eheim's craftsmanship, design, quality parts, low power consumption, and test of time is what make them better. Where/when did you hear about this? If they go ahead with it and not mark up the prices, you will see alot buyers.

![]() Only problem with Eheim is their biggest pump for the north american market is only 1200 gph - Compare that to the sedras... Yes eheim makes bigger, but at 50hz they've been having difficulties making them work on our 60hz power.
