Well the Reefer part is obvious, I think, and is not related to any herbs and spices. Been there, done that....suffered from so called "paranoia" syndrome.....gave it up.

The Johnny part may or may not be obvious. I've always liked to refer to some people as "Johnny whoever" on occaision. Like "Johnny Salesman" or "Johnny Truckdriver". Such as...."So Johnny Truckdriver passes me and then gets into the slow lane again and slows to 70kmh!".
I must point out, too, that this characteristic of mine was adopted long before the arrogant "Johnny Fairplay" got his 15 minutes.

While I'm at it, the avatar has somewhat of a double entendre. I found it doing a "Salty Dog" image google search. It is that of a sailor, as most people refer to them (aka seaman; deckhand). It is representative of my maritime occupation and since reefkeeping is also marine related...well...there is the double entendre. Johnny is a sailor that is also into reefkeeping.

Cheers,

good ones.

I read too many romance novels. They use the work Ecstasy in every book atleast once. I didn't want to use the name Xtasi b/c people would think I'm a druggy so I settled on Xtasia.

I had a brief foray with the name Sushilicious which I utilized because people would meet me and call me Zuh Tay Sia.

Mine is a Combination of 2 aliases I used online. Zman was one Not sure how I came up with that one as it was a long time ago. Discus well my favorite Fresh water fish of all time (that I also kept) Since Zman was used all over the place by others I combined Zman with Discus and came up with DiscusZ, I know its unique and no one is using that.

So there you have it

Uhh, lets see... I like different 'funky' fish... and I like fish, and 14 is my favorite number, so I threw them all together, and use the same name on all reefing/fish forums... no one else has anything similar, so it works all the time... complex eh?

I lurk in the shadows, waiting for the dire need for a swift hand of justice, to crush whomever mixes up Acanthurus japonicus and Acanthurus glaucopareius, be afraid...actually the Hotmail suggestion thing picked it out and being to lazy to think of another I kept it...beeen 7 years now
