Yup, very true. You should move them down & slowly move them back up, maybe over a period of a couple of weeks at least, depending on how bright is your current lighting.

I have 2x 400W halides over my 75, corals love it, I love it! No heat issues.

If you dont want to move your corals, start the light high up, and slowly lower it into position.
