![]() Its not really possible... You can lower your Ca a bit, down tpo 390-400 level. the only thing to do is do regular maintenance, every 6 months, by cleaning it out soaking and putting it back together. Better to do it on your schedule where you can plan it out then have to react to an emergency like this one.
Other thing you can do which a few people do, and I think everybody should, is to have a spare return pump. Mike

![]() I would imagine that everything in the tank will be ok for a day with just a tunze cirulation? Temp seems to be stable.

![]() you might have to chip the calcium off with a screwdriver, i usally do after 6 months.
