![]() Enjoy the fishing!
I just bought all the basic fishing gear last night. If the rain clears up we are going to go to Lac Ste Anne, better knows as Alberta Beach. Can't keep any, but walleye fishing there is supposed to be an easy way to learn to fish. |

![]() well no pics forgot the camera, but we caught about 300 pike. the limit is 3 total over 25" most where 24"-30" so no monsters unfortunately. the lake is INFESTED with pike. there are perch and walleye in heart but why would u want to fish for a fish u might catch, when u are garenteed a pike every other cast or even more frequently?
Richard the limit on pike in lac la biche has been reduced to limit of one and there arent that many in there, or they arent as hungry. |

![]() Just come back from my second time out this year from camping at Carson-Pegasus Provincial Park, just west of Whitecourt.
Two lakes associate with it, one stocked with trout that love marshmallows. |

I remember once I was biking some 20km loop in the woods around there and I came across a sow and two cubs. Since I was by myself, I sort of thought, wow, this is it. In 2003 some hiker is just going to find a pile of bones and a rusty mountain bike. I have *never* pedalled so hard as I did that day, riding back to the car. On the other hand, maybe that would be fabulous way to train if you could pull that off 2, 3 times per week without managing to get eaten by the bears!!! ![]()

What are the costs if you bring your own gear, do you know? |
