![]() Lac la biche, has cabins near it just north of town, a guy named Deisle owns the place, its a great place to stay cheap too. and if u like to fish Hart lake isnt far and its infested with pike. no joke every single cast you will catch a 4 foot pike. my dad and i last year caught 100 pike in one hour combined.

![]() Lac la biche is a great place, they have a really neat campground/park where you have to cross a land bridge to get to it. It is 2 hours away, good for staying overnight on a weekend but a bit far for a day trip.
I can only find reference to a Hart lake in BC, do you mean Heart lake, which is NE of Lac la biche? |

![]() Elk Island Park, east of Edmonton, is a great place to canoe. Not too far away, either.

![]() Enjoy the fishing!
I just bought all the basic fishing gear last night. If the rain clears up we are going to go to Lac Ste Anne, better knows as Alberta Beach. Can't keep any, but walleye fishing there is supposed to be an easy way to learn to fish. |
