Even still, she should be yellow. Do you have a sand bed? Mine sifts through the sand when he's hungery.

Now i don't guarantee anything, But i was pretty sure i read somewhere that the female will lose her yellow as she matures.
As in this mated pair.

I thought that only occured when in the presents of a male YWG.

You could definatley be right. I dont really remeber the details about what I read, Just that the gray ones were the female.

Several sources report having them change back and forth. Weird.

In that picture you have there my goby's entire colouration is like the lighter colouration on your female goby. I've been feeding her some new life spectrum and some brine shrimp and mysis which she seems to really like. YOu think that's a good enough variety?
