Besides my return pump, I ran a pair of 6080 stream pumps on my 225. Seemed to be very good flow.

Why not start with a wavebox, and see how it goes.

If you think you need more flow then add tunze streams as required.

The 180g tank at JL Aquatics with a wavebox has awesome flow, so I think it might do it for a 225 too, especially with more open aquascaping.

I would go with the wavebox and 1x 6100. I would also go barebottom, as I have 2x 6100s in my 180g and can't turn them all the way up or my sand dosen't stay put... and it's annoying.
