![]() Does anyone know what type(s) of wood are koi safe. ACQ i have been told contains copper, so will it leach out of the wood and harm the koi, also i've heard that aromatic oils from cedar are harmful, does anyone have any experience with this situation? thx

![]() Quoted from another forum:
" I wouldn't recommend putting any kind of wood in your pond if you have fish in it. Leeching isn't what comes to mind, but the natural act of water and wood equals rot. You're inviting some serious bacteria into your pond." Just food for thought Steve |

![]() Maybe you could look into using one of the composite deck materials. Should be rot resistant and fish safe.
