No, it's fine -- i.e., within reason try to sell things that are your own, but the occasional "I'm selling this for a friend who doesn't do internet" is OK. I.e., something like "I saw such-at-such at Store X for $blah-blah-blah" is more of a "hot tip" than an actual "for sale" ad.
