Strange! What do you have for RAM and a video card? I have a P4 2.0 with 1GB RAM and a 128MB vid card and can watch everything. Updgrade the RAM and graphics card and you'll be flying along.

Forgot to ask if anyone has seen the BBC documentary Coral Seas? I downloaded this some time ago and liked it so much that I ordered the DVD from Amazon to play at our next club meeting.

Ya, I'm sure it's the video card. Are you running it at 1080p? That's what I was 'trying' to run it at, and it was sputtering out on me. 720p is tolerable, but I think it could be still be a little smoother with a better card. I don't do gaming much these days, so I probably won't run out and buy a card just to watch the DVD at 1080p though.
