Great looking zoos.

How long did you drip acclimate the SPS for? What total water volume did you add? (equal to the bag water, double, triple?)

I admit I didn't drip very long. But the bags the SPS were in were the very small , tiny bags meant to hold one frag in. So it only took about 15 minutes to get the same amount of water in the bag from the tank. I only dripped for about 25mins (i know, tsk tsk...) I am sure a lot of it was my fault.. but I had floated them for a while, then dripped.

Anyhow, I am very happy with the zoos and I think I am going to order more very soon.

How was the temp in the bags when you received them? IMO, getting the temp up slowly is more important than matching the salinity...at least in my experience.
Sorry to hear about the RTN, thats the worst, especially for exciting new stuff

Next time I would drip twice as long.

I don't bother floating the bags.

I also increase the drip rate as I go along, and for the last while I have a small stream of water, and this helps bring the temp up slowly to match my tank.

The temps of the bags were good when I initially got them. Someone was floating them for me already.

Anywhoo, a lesson learned.... acclimate longer and adjust temps better and hopefully that will help.
