freshwater moray

Yes, I do understand that. I was just wondering if anyone out on the board was keeping any of the commonly called "freshwater moray" eels besides myself. It appears that my recent find is a Gymnothorax tile, so I was looking for other keepers to compare notes. The fellow I received mine from had very little in the way of information to give to me, and info on the net is limited.

About all I can add is that being Gymnothorax ,you may want to becarefull with small fish.

Yeah, that's true with most morays. though - isn't it?

Anyone know (and I mean KNOW from experience, not go do a search that I could do myself) what size tank these guys should have? I believe it is full grown at about 20-24" (ever try to measure a moving eel? ), but it doesn't take up a lot of space.

There must be someone else on here who has one of these - they're not rare, are they?
