![]() I can't decide which to put into the new Aqualight Pro. Either a Phoenix 14k, or an XM 20k. I figure with two sets of actinics, that 14k would be sweet. Also, I am a big fan of lots of colour, so 20k and actinics would still be great to me....
Wondering if anyone has input , or advise as to which route I should go. I have heard good things about both bulbs, so I'm stumped.

![]() I've only used XM out of the two brands, but I have been very happy with the bulbs, and will continue to use them. From what I've always read, XM unless you can afford Radium...

![]() I think Phoenix is well loved by many members but I went with the Coralvue Reeflux 10000k 150w bulbs because they give good PAR & have an actinic spike for good coral coloration. I love mine already. If I had a 250w or 400w then I would probably have gone with the Phoenix based on EmilyB's recommendation, but I figured 10000k was necessary with a 24" deep tank & 150w DE lights.

![]() I may try out the 14k then. A 14k with actinic supplements should look pretty nice. 20k might be a bit too much on the blue side, but who knows... I'll let you guys know what I go with.
