![]() i forgot to mention some/most powerheads don't have a lot of head hieght you may need to put it beside but slightly higher or buy a small pump to feed it

There's different setups (lighting, substrate size, flow) for different proposes; vegetation, amphipods, copepod, time out for fish, etc. Depending on the use, might make more sense just to be incorporating into the sump. ![]() Here's how I did it. I made it with 1/4" acrylic, and made a ledge for it to overflow into the last section of my sump. My return is Tee'd off to feed it.

![]() I use a Maxijet900 right now & I get a decent flow into my above tank 20g. I think I might upgrade to a Maxijet1200 later.
