This is great. I love it.

An acetylene torch whould work the same eh?

Heck if you had an oxy-acetylene torch, you could do it with the rock under water!!

not quite Acetylene will leave a soot deposit which might not be that good for the tank.

haha! that's hilarious!

I've also thought, what if you were to smother the little buggers one by one with 2 part epoxy? just erase them?

would solve not being able to take the rock out of the water.

and you just break off the epoxy from the rock a few months later if you don't like it being there.

i had about 200 aptasia's, put in one peppermint shrimp and every single one was gone in a week.

Some people can't keep peppermints, eg. people who keeps ric's or triggers.

This is like the last thing I'd ever buy to control Aiptasia. Too difficult for most people and a flat out mistake for anyone with less than 72 gallons of water.

But yeah, solutions to Aiptasia come in all forms. Personally, I use psychic laser beams.
