You can try this combo: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...cfm?pCatId=250 with: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...cfm?pCatId=230 or http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...cfm?pCatId=225 Any one of the above should work with an eel as well. Steve |

That is what I was hoping for a Toby puffer and a dwarf lion. Do you think a Linckia Sea Star would do ok with those fish? Could I get one more fish in my 50G or is that too much? Thanks, Eric |

I would be worried about the puffer with any cleaning crew. I dont think i would recommend it.

If i were you i would add both at the same time, then give it a couple of weeks and see how your parameters are. You will have to keep up with regular water changes and keeping detrius at a minimum. Steve |

I was thinking of a Linckia Sea Star becuse they are toxic and most fish will not eat them. One other question how do you move a puffer and a loin ( I think a net would not be the best idea)? Eric Last edited by Deathstar; 03-23-2006 at 09:08 PM. |

Assume the Undulated Trigger will slaughter them all! This is a "Bad Boy" among triggers.

Don't totally rule out a clean-up crew, I have very large hermits, serpent stars & knobby sea cucumbers holding their own against a Lunare Wrasse, Clown Trigger, Panther Grouper, Zebra Moray & Snowflake Moray. I have made sure that there are plenty of shells of appropriate size too. Just think mean! |

i had a saddled toby a snowflake and a lion together with no problems but the loin was a lot larger than the toby, the toby lives with a couple cardinals and has never picked at any fins, while a had a fingerprint toby that picked at everyones fins so it might just depend on the fishs personality wether you would have any issues or not.

I picked up the Toby tonight and a Linckia Sea Star. I am going to look for a Lion this weekend.

A few Lion questions; How do you move them? I hear they only eat live food is that true? What type of live should I buy for them? If I don't get a Loin what other fish would go good with my Puffer and my star? Thanks for you help. Eric. |
