| some sort of spawn, almost looks like a nudibranch spawn although i think they are more ribbon like. but not sure on all species |

| Looks like Sea Hare eggs. but can also be another nudi if you dont have a hare. |

| I had the same thing in my sump and had no clue what it was.  Now that the Sea Hare thing is mentioned this must be what it is as I had one in there dealing with the red cotton ball algea.  So I vote Sea Hare if you have one. |

| ive found a ball of strings in my tank before mabey 2 or 3 times and ive never had any kind of sea hare
