Default Remora Aqua C on An Eclipse Hood

Has anyone set up one of these combo's before? Any input as to location and size of cut on the hood would be appreciated.

I have the remora on an eclipse hood. No cutting necessary. I have the tube and the pump where the the original pump was with the discharge where the cartridge goes. Fits perfect.

Default Remora Fix

Yes I can see how that would readily work but I am hoping to keep the filtration and flow from the built in system.

You can still use the cartridges( I use floss) but I use a 301 in the tank for added flow.

Default Flow

Yes but if I pull the pump from the original filter I will lose flow volume, I was hopeing to gain the flow from the Remora ontop of that of the filter.
