![]() I would say it looks more like Lobophyllia robusta. But I am no brain expert by any means.. this is my first.

![]() The Trachy. sp. of open brain is smooth while Lobophyllia are "bumpy" in appearance.

![]() Found a very old pic...(after a coral fell on it) it has since shaped up nicely and coloured up very well. Plus it was in shade at the time, so it doesn't show it's full colours..

![]() That's a Trachyphyllia. Lobophyllia has little bumps all over it & multiple mouths usually.

![]() Thanks Anthony..
That picture is pretty misleading.. it doesn't have that weird/bad looking shape to it anymore, it's all good. My mille colony fell on it while doing a WC a couple months ago. Still available. I am located in the NE of Calgary to all those curious.

![]() I have never kept a brain, do you have to target feed them?

![]() Yes Trachys should be target fed,or at least the pumps should be off when feeding the tank. They can be slow eaters so you dont want the food blown away before they get a good hold on it.Mine gets feed in the morning before the lights come on.Nocturnal eaters, but I think they can be trained to eat during the day.
