Yeah im gonna have to agree with Rory on this 3Ghz with 2Gb ram should be doing you fine.
What kind of video card are you running?

2 pci express geforce 7800 GTX's overclocked, SLI of course i'll upload a pic of my case later on when i hook my digi cam back up.

OMG, and why do you want to upgrade? Those two video cards cost almost as much as my entire computer.

What games are you into? I am really into Day of Defeat Source right now.

here she is "Bertha", except i'm running one 21" monitor and the 17" thats on the left there. I want to give the AMD 64bit FX-60 Dual core a run for its money..haha

I can't seem to get into Battlefield 2, I play it on occasion, but enjoy DOD:S better for some reason. Probably because I came from playing a lot of CS, DOD is more similar. That and Battlefield has EA associated with it, I just cant stand that.

I have been a long-time AMD supporter, I am running a 3000+ with 1.5g RAM and a Radeon x800XL. You gotta support the Canadian ATI over the evil Nvidia!

lol, ya i'm no fan of EA either but i really like the game..played the original alot....and about ATI dont even get me going on that...i've had nothing but trouble with any of there cards....:@
