Default quick question..

ceramic rings or bio balls, whats the best for a cannister filter, or should i stay away from both of these......????????????????????????????????

For saltwater set-ups, most people don't bother with cannister or hob filters since these can quickly become Nitrate factories. Cannisters are used for extra flow or to add chemical filtration to the tank when needed.

If this is on your 29g I wouldn't use a filter LR/LS should be good enough, unless you leave empty for waterflow
