It is a PITA, but unfortunately,

If I remember correctly, this is a default security setting for not just canreef but all vBulletin boards.

if its default, is it adjustable? even a 30 second rule will eliminate spam but less of a PITA for regular users.

Ok, that's weird. I just fired off 3 PM's 15 seconds apart and it let me. Of course maybe that's unfair test since I have admin settings. I'll keep trying to look into this for you.

Ok for those who might be following this thread, Chin & I did some testing back and forth and the setting is now 15 seconds for PM's.

While I was looking for the correct setting, I found the "minimum number of characters per post" setting and the "maximum number of pictures per post" setting and I have disabled the minimum chars (still need 1 character per post) and we may now post 10 pictures per post. Hope that people will find these new settings a little more to their liking.
