![]() get a powerhead and have it turbulate the surface, lots of air exchange that way..given you don't have a glass lid right over top

![]() Yup use powerheads that way you have no bubbles all over. If your skimmer provides alot of surface agitation and provides enough flow, you can rely on it.

![]() Airstones were popular for me with my FW tank. But with the Reef tanks.. it's all about powerheads. Seio's are the bang for your buck IMO, and have TONS of modifactions that can be done with them.
In short... two air stones & your skimmer really won't do.. but they will. (if that makes any sense at all) .. having some surface agitation and overall water movement is very critical in the hobby.
