![]() should be fine as long as it doesnt settle too badly-- watch out for inorganic pockets of harmful stuff if it does.. get some fish or soemthing thats always disturbing it. I agree with Johnny tho, ph might be a bit high?

![]() It will defintaly buffer your tank.
So it all depends on what your putting in the tank. I use gardening sand in my FW, Nice and white and only like 80 cents a pound. Filter sand in another option you could use. You just need to rinse these really well and your good to go.

![]() Thanks guys! I think i will keep it for my reef tank. Currently in the tank i have some silica sand from HD. I think i just will add some more of that!
